Privacy policy
The short version
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party content, and has no forms. Nothing is stored on or read from your device beyond what is needed to deliver the page you asked for. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Who is responsible
Yotta Project d.o.o., at the registered address above, is the data controller. For any privacy question, write to nikola@yottaproject.com.
If you email me
When you send an email, I receive whatever you put in it — typically your name, address and whatever you choose to tell me about your company or project.
- Purpose: to reply to you and, if we go on to work together, to run that engagement.
- Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering a contract) and, for general enquiries, Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in responding to business correspondence).
- Retention: correspondence that doesn’t lead to work is deleted within 12 months. Correspondence connected to an engagement is kept as long as required by Croatian accounting and tax law.
- Sharing: none. Your email is not added to any mailing list and is not passed on.
Email is hosted by Proton AG (Switzerland), which the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of data protection.
If you just read the site
The site is served by a content delivery network operated by BunnyWay, informacijske storitve d.o.o., Dunajska cesta 165, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia, acting as processor under a data processing agreement concluded under Article 28 GDPR. Delivering a page necessarily means their servers receive a request containing your IP address, the page requested, and your browser’s user-agent string.
- IP addresses are truncated before they are stored — an IPv4 address is masked to its first three octets, an IPv6 address to its first 64 bits — so no full address is retained.
- On the edge server that answers your request, the raw log line is held in memory only, for 20 to 30 seconds, before the truncated version is passed to a central service inside the EU.
- The truncated logs are kept there for three days and are used only to keep the site running.
- Routing is restricted to points of presence inside the European Union.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your personal data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing, or portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to the address above and I’ll respond within one month.
If you think your data has been handled improperly, you can complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb — azop.hr.
Changes
This version takes effect on 15 August 2026.
The statements above describe the site exactly as it is built today: no analytics, no cookies, no forms, and no third-party content of any kind. If that ever changes — an analytics tool, a contact form, an embedded video — this page is updated with a new effective date before the change goes live, not after.
